Currently composing and arranging the music for the documentary 'For Love' written by Ashley Ellis of Emerald City Arts. This will be my second project this year with Emerald City.
The film is an experiment that pushes the limits of the documentary film genre. Jansport J. shares his thoughts on life and love and what is conveyed through the tracks on the album. We explore the message in his music by creating a visual complement to his tracks, bringing his ideas to life.

Teamed up with Roger Bobb of Bobbcat Films to compose the score for In The Meantime. In The Meantime is a romance comedy starring Kali Hawk, Darrin Dewitt Henson, Terri J. Vaughn, Thomas Mikal Ford, Rodney Perry, David Mann, Tamela Mannand singer Musiq Soulchild, who’s making his film debut.
A bride-to-be gives her fiancé “creative” freedom before their wedding day, but ends up finding faith and the meaning of true love in the meantime. Jazmin “Jazz” Welles and her fiancé “Blac” are taking a non-traditional approach to their nuptials. They’ve agreed to take nine months off to discover themselves and if it is indeed true love, they’ll show up on the wedding day, no questions asked.
The film will have it’s television premiere on the UP Network in August, 2013. Be sure to check your local listings…
Just completed the score for the short film No Rainbow. The film was written by actress/producer Rahvaunia L. Johnson and directed by Fred Thomas, Jr. No Rainbow is a suspense/thriller that is buzzing around Hollywood.
It was a quick turnaround for the score. Only a 24 hour day to write, create, arrange, and mix the musical pieces. Though the film is 10 minutes long, the score was very critical because of the nature of he film. Relaying the message through music is often difficult in a short amount of time. The director and producers were happy with the results of the music and film… I am thankful for the opportunity. I am looking forward to see No Rainbow flourish in festivals…
Trailer coming soon…
